Living well with Dementia

Dementia is the umbrella term for symptoms from a range of diseases and conditions, including loss of memory, mood changes, problems with communications, language difficulties, difficulty with concentrating and everyday activities. There are many different types of dementia including vascular dementia, Alzheimer disease, and dementia with lewy bodies.

If you or someone you know is worried about the possibility of having dementia, speak to your GP.

Living Well with Dementia Strategy

We’re creating a Living Well with Dementia Strategy for 2019-2022. This will be a joint strategy for Herefordshire and Worcestershire and we want to hear from people living with dementia, families and carers. We also want to involve professionals from organisations working to support and treat people with dementia.

We have worked on a draft strategy and now we would like your feedback to help to develop the final strategy. Please let us know your views until December 21 on the draft strategy by taking part in our short questionnaire.
