Wellbeing information and signposting for Hereford (WISH)

Wellbeing Information and Signposting for Herefordshire (WISH) is a service provided by Herefordshire Council in partnership with Services for Independent Living (SIL).

The WISH service will provide information online, by phone or face to face for Herefordshire.

WISH Website

The website has been developed by Herefordshire Council to provide a wide range of information and guidance, plus a comprehensive directory of services and activities that support the wellbeing of adults, children, young people and families across Herefordshire.

The website has been developed to help you or someone you care for live as safely and independently as possible. It aims to provide you with the information you need to support your wellbeing and ensure your care needs are met. Where appropriate it will signpost you to other organisations and agencies that can provide support. Or you can use the WISH directory to find providers, support groups and services, as well as a range of activities that are happening in your local community and across Herefordshire.

The website, including all its information, is available to everyone. So professionals, such as GPs and social workers, can also use the site to find out what support is available in Herefordshire for the people they work with.

The telephone and face to face support is provided by local charity Services for Independent Living (SIL) through a dedicated team of people. If you cannot find the information you are looking for on the website the WISH team will be able to help.
